Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been obsessed with antennas. We lived in a canyon, where all that could be received was a weak Cheyenne TV station. This was long before the days of cheap satellite TV. So, being the curious kid, I read and experimented, and actually stole, TV antennas from atop the hills nearby.
These pictures were taken on Buckhorn Mountain, NW of Fort Collins. The view from up here is just stupendous. The math says I can see 70 miles out, but haze tends to limit that.
